Sintoukola Potash is the Congolese subsidiary company of Kore Potash that is Kore’s operating entity within the Congo

Sintoukola Potash S.A. (SPSA) is incorporated as a public limited company in Pointe-Noire in the Republic of the Congo (RoC). SPSA is an operating subsidiary of Kore Potash Plc. SPSA has two subsidiaries in the RoC, Kola Potash Mining S.A. (KPM) and Dougou Potash Mining S.A. (DPM) which hold or will hold respectively Kola mining licence and Dougou mining licence. The Congolese subsidiaries and the mining licences fall under the umbrella of the Mining Convention which is a contract between Kore’s subsidiaries and the Government of the Republic of the Congo that sets the rights and obligations of Kore as operator of its projects in the Congo for the life span of the projects. On 12 November 2018, the Mining Convention covering the proposed staged development of the Kola and Dougou Mining Licences was voted into law following ratification by the Parliament of the Republic of the Congo and published in the Official Gazette on 29 November 2018. The result of this law being gazetted was that the RoC government were now entitled to a 10% equity interest in Dougou and Kola. There is currently no shareholder agreement in place for this agreement.
